Needles:
Size US 1 (2.25mm) dpn’s (socks) or
40-inch circular needles for magic loop method
Size US 2 (2.75mm) dpn’s (hat and gauntlets)
and 16-inch circular needle (hat only)
or size as needed to achieve gauge
Gauge:
7 sts = 1” in St St using larger needles
(28 sts = 10 cm)
8.5 sts = 1” in Fair Isle using larger needles
(34 sts = 10 cm)
