Cable stitch has great elasticity—flattering on all
body types.

XXS (32.5”), XS (37”), S (41.5”), M (46”),
L (50”), XL (54.5”), XXL (59”)
Yarn:
1 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skein(s) Cascade Ecological Wool
(478 yds) Aran 10-ply worsted weight wool or
470 (550, 650, 850, 975, 1,050, 1,150) yds
and approx. 25 yds of similar color in fingering
weight (hemming of armhole and neckline)
Needles:
Size US 9 (5.5mm) straight or circular needles and
16-inch circular needles (neckline and armhole) and
cable needle
or size as needed to achieve gauge
Gauge:
4.0 sts and 6 rows = 1” in St St
(16 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm)
5.0 sts = 1” in cable pattern blocked
(20 sts = 10 cm)
