Mittens are knit using an old Swedish
technique called Tvaandsstickning—or
“two-end knitting”. This method will keep
these mittens more wind resistant and
surprisingly soft.

Sizes:
(XS) toddler, (S) child, (M) small adult,
(L) medium/large adult
Measurements:
Toddler: 4 ¼” circumference x 5 ½” length
Child: 5 ¼” circumference x 6 ½” length
Small adult: 6 ¼” circumference x 8” length
Adult: 7 ¼” circumference x 9 ½” length
Yarn:
90 (100, 125, 150) yds worsted weight
100% wool yarn
Needles:
Size US 9 (5.5mm) double pointed needles (dpn)
or size as needed to achieve gauge
Gauge:
4.75 sts = 1” in St St (19 sts = 10 cm)
6 sts = 1” in twining method (24 sts = 10 cm)
